Today we made apple-glazed BBQ chicken. It was delicious. Here's how you make it.


    Apple Glazed BBQ chicken
Ingredients
6 oz. frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
1/4 C.packed brown sugar
1/4 C.ketchup
1 Tbsp. Apple cider vinegar
1 tsp. dried thyme, crumbled
1/8 tsp. hot sauce(Tabasco)
3 lb. chicken pieces(wings, drumsticks,thighs,etc.)
Vegetable oil
Salt and pepper




                                                                         Directions                                                               
In a heavy saucepan, combine apple juice concentrate, brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, thyme, and hot sauce. Heat (and stir) until sugar melts completely(about 4 min). Cool. In shallow baking dish, place chicken in a single layer. Pour half of the cooled sauce(I used it all) over chicken, turning once to coat both sides.Cover up and marinate for up to 24 hours. Prepare the grill. Remove chicken from marinade. Brush each piece with oil. Season generously with salt and pepper. Grill until chicken is almost cooked through, turning occasionally,about 20 minutes. Brush with reserved glaze. Continue grilling until chicken is cooked through, turning and brushing with glaze frequently,about 10 more minutes. Makes 4 servings

This is my favorite way to prepare chicken. The secret is the grilling. I can't vouch for how it would taste baked, although it would still probably taste awesome. I use this for chicken pieces and for boneless skinless breasts. This recipe will be a keeper once you try it.

Annie

Yesterday, me and my sisters and my mom went to the play of Annie. We got lockets and we got to take a picture with Annie!!! The person who played Annie was named Olivia. I will post pictures of it later. The people there still need to e-mail my mom the pictures.

This is Adelle. I like some videos called Kid History. Here they are below

I thought this video was awesome. the cheer-leading stunts are AMAZING. There is music on it so check how high your volume is before watching it.

Fun, Fun, Fun

We had LOTS of fun in California.We stayed at my grandma and grandpa's house,Laura, Jim, and Kelly's house(we went to jack in the box, the movies, down second street for treats, to Rubio's , and MUCH more)  ,and last but CERTAINLY not least, we stayed at Alia and Grace's house. I had tons of fun there. I'm sure that the rest of my family did too.


If Alia and Grace are reading this, then THANK YOU for letting me and my family stay at your House. We had a BLAST!!!!!!!!! Thank you for all of the presents you gave us. Alia, I got ALL of the letters when I got home.One of them got torn , so the postal service put it in a bag. I hope nothing fell out!!! I will show you when you come over again.


Alia and Grace send me letters and I hang them all over my wall. The goal is to cover my whole room with letters. My walls are filling up fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
